These shutters were salvaged from a chateau in the south of France. We have lovingly and painstakingly restored and used them to build a kitchen/hallway cupboard creating a unique and fabulous piece. Could even be used in a large bathroom for storing towels/linens etc. It is a versatile piece.
The cupboard has 6 shelves made from a pine chest of drawers circa 1920's (which is in-keeping). The piece has been linseed oiled throughout and waxed bringing a rich shine to the patina, especially to the shutters themselves. A truly fabulous and uniques piece - one of our favourites!
Measurements: Height: 204cm Width: 69cm Depth: 39cm
The last four photographs are to show what we started with so that you can see the transformation, just for your interest :)
