Very early Hans Welling design/glaze of a super rare West Germsn (Fat Lava) Ruscha ceramic. Welling produced a series of inspired handmade pieces for Ruscha in the mid/late 1950's, but, surly along with the 'Marocco' 313, this is the most tactile and delicate of shapes. Hard to imagine that this little lady is approaching 60 years undamaged and looking as beautiful now as it was when she was made.

Measures: 27cm in length and 16cm in height.
